About the Neighborhood

NexCore is located in South City’s Fox Park neighborhood. Fox Park has been a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985. Home to a variety of independently owned and operated chef-drive restaurants and largely lined with a multiple of 2-to-6 family row houses, Fox Park’s architecture is defined by the early working class German immigrants that settled the area between 1885 and 1915.

In and around 2016 Fox Park has begun and maintained a thriving residential and commercial real estate boom. Named as one of the “hottest” 10 neighborhoods in the country by Redfin in 2017, Fox Park is framed by the 300-ft.-tall steeple of St. Francis De Sales which is visible for miles.

The Park, playgrounds and fountains were founded in 1917 and were once the home of the Fox Park Lumberyards.
